
This course provides students with the foundational knowledge and practical skills in scientific research and biostatistics. It focuses on the design and implementation of research projects, formulation of research questions and hypotheses, data collection techniques, data analysis, interpretation, and reporting of scientific findings. The course also introduces students to key biostatistical concepts, including descriptive statistics, probability distributions, hypothesis testing, regression analysis, and the use of statistical software (e.g., Minitab, SPSS, R).
